Finding Books in the Library

The Dewey Decimal number for space is 520. However, this does not mean all books on space have the number 520. They will begin with the numbers 52, and will then have more numbers following according to the exact subject. If you cannot find the right numbers, look for the picture of the planet, and this is where you will find the space section. Here's some titles you can look for to start off.

  • The atlas of space / by Jack Challoner. 523 CHA
  • The universe / by James Muirden. 523.1 MUI
  • Astronomy (Collins eyewitness) / by Kristen Lippincott. 520 LIP
  • The Kingfisher facts and records book of space / by Stuart Atkinson. 520 ATK
  • Let's look up the planets / by Denny Robson. 523.4 ROB
  • Space and astronomy / by Zuza Vbrova. 520 VBR
  • Space explorers / by Gregory Vogt. 523.4 VOG

There are plenty more books in this section. See if you can find the books on individual planets, such as Mars. You can also find a set of books on space entitled 'Isaac Asimov's Library of the Universe'.
